Hi there! You probably found your way here because you know me as a photographer, but I’ve always been a teacher at heart. I’ve been educating or mentoring in some capacity over the last 15 years and I love every opportunity I have to spark joy and passion in others.
After spending three years as a public school teacher, I quit my steady paycheck job to be my own boss and stay home to mother my kids! I’ve built my business from scratch and learned a lot of lessons the hard way.

This is the perfect opportunity to ask any and all questions you have related to business and photography! This is a question + answer style meeting where you can ASK ME LITERALLY ANYTHING. Nothing is off the table— I’m happy to share my secrets, tips, and tricks! We can meet in-person in Des Moines or via Skype. Prior to our meeting I’ll send you a questionnaire so that I can get to know you and so that you can get your brain in the right space to build your business!
Topics include but are not limited to: camera settings, lighting situations, business set-up and maintenance, portfolio review, and editing questions.

This monthly mentorship option is the perfect opportunity for someone who has lots of questions + wants to work through several tasks together in their business! Monthly membership includes 2 hours of in-person meeting/month for any purpose — coffee and questions, editing, etc. You’ll receive a weekly check-in and planning call as well as open communication between the two of us for the whole month via text, Voxer, and Marco Polo. FREE 20 minute branding session included with your first month!
